Overview
The Ductile Iron Wide Range Flange Adaptor is designed to connect a plain-ended pipe to a flanged valve, fitting, pump or other pipeline equipment. Its wide-tolerance sealing system accommodates a range of pipe outside diameters, making it suitable for new installations, pipeline extensions, repair work and the replacement of existing equipment.
The adaptor consists of a flanged body, compression end ring, elastomeric gasket and bolting assembly. When the bolts are tightened evenly, the end ring compresses the gasket around the pipe outside diameter to form a reliable flexible seal. The flanged end provides a convenient connection to standard flanged components.

Installation Notes
● Confirm the actual pipe outside diameter falls within the marked working range of the adaptor.
● Check that the flange drilling and pressure rating match the mating valve or equipment.
● Clean the pipe surface and remove dirt, scale, sharp edges and coating defects from the sealing area.
● Insert the pipe to the specified depth and tighten the bolts gradually and evenly in a cross pattern.
● Follow the recommended bolt torque and perform a pressure test after installation.
● This standard flexible adaptor is not automatically an axial restrained joint. Where thrust or axial movement may occur, provide suitable anchoring or select a specifically designed restrained product.
● For PE pipe, confirm the need for an internal support liner and axial restraint according to pipe SDR, pressure and installation conditions.
